MyDGSA

Background

The client is an experienced Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) who was setting up his own business, providing guidance and training to clients who handle dangerous goods.

The brief

The client’s business was focused on keeping things simple for his clients. His website needed to reflect this, with plain English copy that explained things clearly and made good sense.

The SEO on the site would also be important for helping these clients to find him.

My approach

I had two preliminary meetings with the client to discuss his needs and get a thorough understanding of his business.

As my background is in Health and Safety copywriting, I already had a basic grasp of the subject. But I needed to understand the benefits he was providing and what the alternatives might be.

I meticulously researched the keywords for their relevance and performance, choosing the best ones for his site.

I then set about writing the copy, breaking it down into sections that explained the proposition, and issues surrounding it, clearly and simply.
